Records Division

The Police Department's Records Division secures and maintains over 800,000 computerized and paper records. These records are made up of Traffic Accident Reports, Offense Reports, Arrest Reports, Missing Children and Adult Reports, Property Reports, non-criminal Incident Reports, and many other types of records required by law or for the convenience of our citizens.

The Records Office, located at 800 Westover Drive, is open Monday through Friday 7:30AM to 4:00PM. Copies of records needed by citizens can be obtained during these hours. There is a fee for the copying process.

The Records Division also is responsible for securing, cataloging, and maintaining all Evidence and Property. Evidence includes any item that is held for use in court for the prosecution of a criminal offense. Property includes items found by citizens or officers and the owner is unknown, abandoned property, items confiscated and remanded to the Department by the Courts, or any item received by the Department under other circumstances.
