Columbia Fire & Rescue Maintains ISO Class 1 Rating

ISO Rating 2022

The City is proud to announce that Columbia Fire & Rescue continues to maintain an ISO Class 1 rating. The Insurance Services Office better known as ISO is an independent advisory organization that measures risk in communities across the US. ISO evaluates fire departments nationwide on how prepared they are to provide fire suppression services to their community. This ISO Class 1 rating has a direct impact on local insurance premium costs, significantly lowering rates for residents and businesses in the City of Columbia. Columbia Fire & Rescue is one of only eight departments in the state of Tennessee to hold this rating.

Thank you to Fire Chief Ty Cobb and all the brave men and women on the CFR team who work daily to provide outstanding service to the Columbia community.
