The City is pleased to announce Mr. Doug Gibbs as the April Employee of the Month.
Doug has been an operator with the City's Wastewater Department for over 11 years. He always goes above and beyond his normal duties, and is a great example of a self-motivated, hard worker. In May, Doug worked 30 hours of overtime (110 hours total) in a single pay period to ensure that the City's wastewater was treated and tested to meet the state requirements. He works through various weather conditions and times of the day to help keep the City running smoothly. Additionally, Doug has his grade II wastewater license and trains most of the new employees who join the Wastewater Department. The City is thankful to have Doug as the April Employee of the Month.
