Assistant Fire Chief Jeremy Finley started his career with Mount Pleasant Fire Department in 2001. He accepted a position with Columbia Fire & Rescue in 2007. Assistant Chief Finley was promoted to the rank of Fire Captain in 2012. As a Fire Captain he supervised firefighting, organized shift training, and directed incident management at Fire Station No. 1. He holds an Associate's Degree in Fire Science from Columbia Southern University and a Bachelor's in Fire Administration from Columbia Southern University. Chief Finley was promoted to Assistant Fire Chief in January 2022.
