CityBeginning today thru April 13th the following steps and closures will be taken:

City of Columbia
All city mass gathering, non-essential events scheduled during this time frame are cancelled.
All city meetings scheduled at City Hall (Litter Task Force, IDB, Arts Council, development review meeting) are cancelled.
All Columbia Parks and Recreation Facilities will be closed 
o Fairview Community Center – (931)380-2740 
o Macedonia Community Center – (931) 380-2838
o Armory – (931) 380-2742 
Ridley Sports Complex sport tournaments are cancelled.
o Please direct all questions to (931) 388-8119
Dog Park Ribbon Cutting will be rescheduled. 
o Please direct all questions to (931) 560-1512
Portrait Park will be rescheduled. 
o Please direct all questions to (931) 560-1512
City Municipal Court are cancelled for the following dates:
o March 17, 2020
o March 24, 2020
o March 31, 2020 
o If you were scheduled on one of the dates above, you will now need to appear in court on April 7, 2020.
o Please direct all questions to (931) 560-1520. 
*Columbia City Hall will remain open. 
*Columbia Parks Systems will remain open for the public’s use.
*Columbia Police and Fire Services will continue with no change.

*The city will conduct weekly departmental staff meetings the next few weeks to monitor this evolving situation. If the situation worsens, the city may extend beyond the four-week period.

Maury County Government
The County Clerk's office is closed to the public. All transactions will be conducted by mail and phone (931) 375-5200.
o Tag Service – Due to the traffic backup and safety concerns, all transactions will be conducted by phone or mail.
Trustees office is closed to the public. Call (931) 375-2201 for services or to make an appointment if necessary.
o Tax payments – You may drop off the payment in the “Drop Box” outside and a receipt will be mailed to you or pay online at maurycounty-tn.gov/327/trustee
County Archives are closed to the public. 
o Please direct all questions to (931) 375-1501. 

Maury County Schools 
Maury County Public Schools are closed through Monday, April 13, 2020. 
All athletics, school plays and before and after-school activities are hereby postponed until further notice. Food distribution pickups at select schools will be shared by mid-week. Dining rooms are closed and all meals will be pick up only. Children 18 years and younger will need to be present to pick up meals.
Teachers will provide packets for students to work on at home. These packets can be picked up at schools where principals will be on hand to assist. Report cards will be distributed at a date to be determined.

Columbia Academy 
Columbia Academy has moved online courses Wednesday, March 18, 2020 – Friday, March 20, 2020 followed by Spring Break March 29, 2020 – April 9, 2020. 
The Columbia preschool will remain open for any that need those services, however children with any symptoms (runny nose or cough, with or without fever) will not be allowed to attend. 
There will be no Spring Break childcare.
All athletic facilities will be closed through spring break, and all games are canceled through that time. Extracurricular activities have also been canceled.

Zion Christian Academy 
Zion Christian Academy is closed from March 17, 2020 through Spring Break. A decision to convene school will be determined closer to time.  

Bridle and Saddle Club 
Mule Day is cancelled.

Maury Alliance 
All meetings and chamber events will be canceled until April 3rd.
o Please direct all questions to Maury Alliance at (931) 388-2155.

Maury County Library 
Maury County Library is closed to the public through April 13th. 
The library will be offering materials for pick-up only. You will be able to call the Library at (931) 375-6502 or use the Library's online catalog, to reserve request materials for pick up. A pick up time will be provided and the materials will be placed in the library's foyer. 
The library encourages you to download the Libby app for your mobile device. This allows access to the Library's electronic holdings - as well as all of the materials available via the Tennessee Electronic Library. Of course you can use R.E.A.D.S. to access these materials as well https://reads.overdrive.com
