Women In Art Exhibit2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment, guaranteeing and protecting women's constitutional rights to vote. From August through September, the City of Columbia will feature 'Rightfully Hers', an educational display about Women's Suffrage and "Women in Art", an exhibit of local art showcasing work by women and/or about women. This exhibit is free and open to the public during regular City Hall hours.

The National Archives commemorates the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th amendment with 'Rightfully Hers'. This popup exhibit contains educational messages exploring the history of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, women's voting rights before and after the amendment, and its impact today. 

Come view the exhibit and educational display to support the arts community and celebrate women! Both will be on display August through September in The Art Gallery at City Hall, 700 North Garden Street, Columbia, TN during regular hours Monday-Friday from 7:30 AM until 4:00 PM.
